## Who he is

Nathan Whittacre started Stimulus Technologies in 1995 in Henderson, Nevada and still runs
it. The company manages technology and security for businesses with no IT department of
their own. Through Stimulus Broadband it builds fiber and fixed wireless networks in
Nevada, Oregon, California, New Mexico, and Missouri, funded in part by awarded federal
broadband programs, in rural communities that have not had wired service.

He is the author of The CEO's Digital Survival Guide, written for executives who make
technology decisions without a technology background.
